Refund handling

Refunds should be verified against Stripe records and customer agreements before money is returned or credited.

Duplicate charge	Refund the duplicate charge after verification.
Billing error	Refund or credit the incorrect amount after verification.
Platform outage	Consider prorated credit if Alignyx Drive caused material paid-service downtime.
Cancellation	Cancel future renewal through Stripe Customer Portal or support.
Dispute	Pause billing review, preserve safe evidence, and avoid storing card details.

Pilot terms

Any pilot-specific refund promise should be written into the signed customer agreement. The public page should not promise custom exceptions that operations cannot support.
